Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Analyzing, consulting and performing massage treatments in a professional and comfortable setting. Directing all efforts towards client’s satisfaction. Performing 30, 60, and 90-minute massages. Follows L’Occitane protocols. Ensuring that the room is cleaned after each treatment and at the end of each shift. Help with other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The successful candidate MUST HAVE valid DC Massage Therapist License. Two years prior professional massage therapy experience is preferred. Evening and weekend availability a must. Must be: Willing to learn. Excellent communication skills. Positive energy. Dynamic group building personality. Computer literacy. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Job Type: Part-time Pay: Hourly + Commission + Retail Commission + Gratuity
